I would also like to point out that "middling rates" have no place here. 3-3.50 or up means I actually liked your book. Anything under is starting to push my meh target. 

5 Stars- Awesome! Amazing! I couldn't put it down! What's the next book?!
4 and a half Stars (plus)- Still pretty awesome!
4 Stars- I loved it! 
3 and a half Stars (plus)- Really liked it! 
3 Stars- Liked it!
2 and a half Stars (plus)- It was okay; could have been better. 
2 Stars- Meh, kind of okay.
1 and a half Stars (plus)- This is terrible. I just can't. 
1 Star- Nope.
